4.6.-7.6.26 Spanish Championships Murcia, ESP
After a memorable week at the Spanish Dressage Championships in Murcia, Alejandro leaves with immense pride and a very special feeling. Together with Giraldo MVL, he competed at the Championships for the very first time, a milestone that reflects the dedication, hard work, and progress of the combination over the past seasons. Competing against some of Spain’s best Grand Prix combinations, the pair delivered a solid Grand Prix, scoring 64,870%, before returning in the Grand Prix Special to achieve 65.500%, gaining valuable Championship experience and continuing to build confidence at the highest level. For Alejandro, the highlight of the week was simply being there and sharing this achievement with his horse. Qualifying for their first Spanish Championships together was already a dream come true, and Giraldo MVL once again proved himself a willing and generous partner in the arena.
Alejandro was proud of the way Giraldo MVL rose to the occasion throughout the competition. “He tried his heart out for me,” he reflected afterwards, praising his horse for giving everything in both tests and embracing the atmosphere of a major championship. The weekend leaves Alejandro highly motivated and excited for what lies ahead.
23.5.-24.5.26 CDIO Lier, BEL
After a successful weekend at the CDIO Lier, João leaves Belgium with great confidence and a very positive feeling. Competing against a strong international field, João was especially pleased with the way Lirio performed throughout the show and highlighted the harmony and relaxation in the arena as one of the biggest positives of the weekend.
The highlight came in the Freestyle, where João & Lirio achieved over 75%, rewarding the consistent work and progress of the combination over the past months. Joao was very happy with the feeling he had during the test - to finish with a great Freestyle makes it even more special.
At the prestigious Coudelaria Alter do Chão, Alejandro competed Giraldo at CDI3* level in both the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special. He was especially pleased with Giraldo’s confidence and trust in a challenging arena, where the strength of their partnership became increasingly evident.
Highlights included the canter work and a significantly improved passage, both reflecting the pair’s ongoing progress. The entire team left the exceptionally well-organized competition feeling proud and motivated, and now looks ahead with excitement to the upcoming shows.
2.-3.5. 26 CDI Alter do Chão, POR
João is very happy to have secured 4th place with his team and proud to have been able to represent his country Portugal once again at a CDIO. The arena seemed spooky to Lirio which showed in a few corners or along one side. Nevertheless he is very happy how Lirio performed.
16.-19.4. 26 CDIO Fontainebleau, FRA
19.-21.3.26 Vejer de la Fronteira, ESP
João competed Lirio MVL at the Sunshine Tour in Vejer. The show was very busy and it was windy. Very challenging circumstances for a sensitive horse like Lirio. João was very happy with the Piaffe and Passage tour in the GP and finished 2nd with above 69%. In the GPK he finished 2nd as well.
Aswell as João Ale competed Giraldo at the same event. Giraldo showed his qualities inside the Arena and Ale was very pleased with his performance which earned him 10th place with 65% in the GP and a 9th place with 64.575% in the GPS.
19.-21.2.26 CDI Beloura, POR:
João was truly pleased with Lirio MVL at the first competition of the year. Despite one mistake in the two time changes, he was very happy with the overall harmony, which earned them 3rd place in a strong field. Due to a pneumonia João was unfortunately not able to ride the GP Freestyle the next day.
Ale and Giraldo MVL debuted internationally and competed in the GP and GPS. Giraldo MVL felt very good and we were very happy with their performances.
