Anne-Sylvie was born and raised in Switzerland and she has lived in the US and in Portugal.

She holds a degree in Special Needs education and she has taught children up to grade 6 for 15 years before she took a chance and went to work as a Head-Instructor, Stable Manager and Rider at Monte Velho (@equoresort) in Portugal with Lusitanos.

She has been passionate about horses since she was a child. Her grandfather was an Equine Vet and her Dad, who also loves riding, took her to the stables from an early age. She has fond memories helping preparing horses as a toddler on two straw bales.

Anne-Sylvie is fluent in German, English and French and she speaks Portuguese.
